That's what brought together Coraline Pied-Mazier (Singer) and Rémi Viala (Guitarist, pianist, bassist). These two professional musicians have put in common their passion for the songs of Michael Jackson, Sting, Stevie Wonder, Arheta Franklin, but also more current acts like Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars or Lady Gaga, to imagine an eclectic repertoire revisited in the duo form.

After he started playing the piano at the age of 8, then the guitar at 15, it is as a bass player that Rémi began his career as a professional musician.
He trained at the "Jazz à Tours" school where he received his Jazz "prix de Conservatoire" in 2015 with honors.
Ever since, he accompanies many artists, groups, and choirs.
Those different experiences led him to collaborate with Manu Eveno (Tryo), Gabin Lesieur (pianist for Ben L'Oncle Soul),or more occasionally with Wayne Elligton (The Voice UK), PV Nova or the band L.E.J...
With a soft spot for soul-music and American pop, he suggested forming the Square Two duo to Coraline after meeting during a concert with the Rejoice gospel choir.
Growing up to the sound of her father's music (bass player for Ludwig von 88 and Nuclear Device) and her mother's who played the piano, Coraline took her first steps in professional music after coming home from Conservatory of Avignon in 2003.
In 2019, she got her Bachelor's degree in Musicology with a specialty in "Jazz and contemporary music".
She also studies at the Jazz à Tours school.
Today she is a pop and soul singer, evolving in various acts and was part of the Rejoice choir in 2017 to 2018.
